Here, you are encouraged to do as much or as little as you like. At this all-inclusive luxury resort dedicated to well-being, there are any number of ways to soothe the senses and restore the spirit. Based on a philosophy of relaxation, restorative beauty, exercise and diet, Body Holiday offers every possibility. The renowned Wellness Center, voted one of the world’s best spas by Condé Nast Traveler, caters to every need with an indulgent array of time-honored body treatments as well as state-of-the-art therapies, while Body Holiday’s five-star restaurants satisfy every taste with menus that feature locally-sourced foods and ingredients fresh from the resort’s own organic garden. Then, there is the endless list of activities on land and sea–from yoga sessions and fitness classes, scuba diving, sailing, tennis and golf to more exotic adventures including biking the coastline, hiking the mountains or abseiling a river gorge. However you design it, Body Holiday can be a hive of activity or a haven of peace and serenity.
Finally, Body Holiday stands out for the quantity and quality of services actually included in the holiday price. Just take a look, for example at a typical weekly activity schedule.
Located 2.25 km (1.5 mi) from the resort, Pigeon Island National Historic Park includes barracks, batteries, and garrisons dating from 18th-century English-French battles for control of St. Lucia; a museum; and a multimedia display about the island’s historical significance. It is frequently the site of concerts and festivals.
This resort offers 300 yards of beachfront surrounded by an 18-acre garden.
The resort features a full-service spa, pools and four practice holes, putting green and access to an eighteen-hole golf course. Guests are treated to one spa service each day, except on arrival and departure.
Set on a ridgetop against a hillside covered with blossoms and forest, the Moorish-style seaview health/fitness spa includes 37 treatment rooms, two courtyards (one with pool), and a rooftop nude-sunbathing deck. Forested hills and rocky points prevent outsiders from reaching the beach, above which lies a pool and spa tub. Guests scuba dive and snorkel off the beach. The resort’s Asian-European fine-dining restaurant earns local renown.
Guests under 16 years old are not permitted at this adults-only property.
Open-air restaurant with sea view. Adjacent plaza with tiny lights strung overhead for occasional after-dark dancing. Gazebo for occasional live entertainment, including dinnertime jazz. Breakfast and themed-lunch buffets. À la carte dinner service except for weekly casual-dress Caribbean buffet. Dinner menu changes daily. À la carte dinner dress code: No jeans, shorts, tee-shirts, athletic shoes, or beach sandals.
The Deli, open from 10:00am to 4:00pm offers lighter options and specializes in gourmet sandwiches, specialty salads, fresh fruit, vegetable juices and smoothies.
Fine-dining, East-West fusion, à la carte dinner restaurant with bar/lounge. Located on second floor with lighted-beach view. Open-air pavilion-style design. Black-and-white decor, including beamed ceiling, tile floor. Rattan chairs, Asian artifacts, fresh-flower displays. Black-clad staff. Reservation required. Dress code: No jeans, shorts, tee-shirts, athletic shoes, or beach sandals. Nonsmoking.
The Club House
Casual open-air restaurant serving themed-dinner, grilled-food or carving-station buffets six nights weekly. Afternoon English-style tea service. Bar/lounge. Wooden dance floor under fabric-draped ceiling. Raised deck/stage with overstuffed leather seating.
Air-conditioned bar/lounge with overstuffed seating. Open early evening to late night for cocktails, wine and tropical drinks. Pianist nightly. No smoking until after 10 PM. No cigars.

Forested hills falling to rocky points frame 250-m (273-yd) Cariblue Bay Beach, on which this is the only resort. Along one rocky point is a designated snorkeling zone. Cedar-shingle huts provide beach shade, and lounge chairs offer sunbathing ease.
A 19.75-m (65-ft) kidney-shaped pool, a four-person spa tub, and a sundeck furnished with padded lounge chairs and umbrellas lie on a hillside above the beach. For volleyball, aerobics, and scuba diving lessons there’s a 16.75-by-7.25-m (55-by-24-ft) pool. A third pool, measuring 15 by 4.5 m (49 by 15 ft), is located in one of the health spa’s two courtyards.
The Body Holiday Saint Lucia provides snorkeling gear as well as beginners’ and resort-level scuba diving lessons. Also provided are kayaks, sailboats, windsurfers, water skiing, tubing, wake boarding, and knee boarding, as well as beginners’ instruction for all. Swimming lessons, scuba diving certification classes, and advanced windsurfing and sailing lessons are offered for surcharges. Independent operators often turn up off the beach to rent personal watercraft and offer parasailing.
Beginners’ and intermediate lessons are provided for tennis (two lighted courts), fencing, and archery, with private golf and tennis lessons available for surcharges.
Also included are bicycle tours.
Transportation is provided to a nearby golf course where guests receive discounted green fees.
Fitness classes offered as part of the All-Inclusive plan include hatha, ashtanga, and transcendental yoga; meditation; pool aerobics; introductory personal fitness training; stretching, abdominal work-outs, aerobics, step aerobics, tai chi, Pilates, stability-ball, boxing, circuit training, and other exercise classes. Occasional master classes in fitness, yoga, and health are also part of the All-Inclusive plan. Private yoga lessons, advanced personal fitness training, and stress-management counseling are available for surcharges.
