Jade Mountain, St Lucia
“Rising majestically above the 600 acre beachfront resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St. Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty.” Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature and environment in his creation of Jade Mountain. The bold architectural design with individual bridges leading to the extraordinary infinity pool sanctuaries and columns reaching towards the sky makes Jade Mountain one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences. Expect grand sweeping spaces with your bedroom, living area and extravagantly sized private infinity edge pool gliding into one another to form an amazing platform floating in space with the fourth wall missing entirely. The result is a stage-like setting from which to embrace the full glory of St. Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site and the infinite Caribbean Sea, a view you are not likely to ever forget.

Rising majestically above the 600 acre beach front resort of Anse Chastanet, Jade Mountain Resort on St. Lucia’s south-western Caribbean coastline is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St. Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty.
Architect owner Nick Troubetzkoy has expanded upon his philosophy of building in harmony with Caribbean nature in his creation of Jade Mountain St. Lucia. The bold architectural design – individual bridges leading to exceptional infinity pool sanctuaries and rugged stoned-faced columns reaching towards the sky – makes Jade Mountain St. Lucia one of the Caribbean’s most mesmerizing resort experiences.
Expect grand sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and an extravagant private infinity pool glide into one another to form extraordinary platforms floating out into nature. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of St. Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site, and of course, the eternal Caribbean Sea.
Wrapped around an infinity pool with a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors, the Jade Mountain Club celebrates James Beard Award winner Chef Allen Susser’s “Jade Cuisine.” Hovering in space above the Jade Mountain Club is the Celestial Terrace, perfect for sunset cocktails or star-gazing.
A wide range of spa services can be enjoyed in the privacy of the Jade Mountain sanctuaries or at Kai en Ciel, Jade Mountain’s boutique spa and fitness studio. The resort major domos and a dedicated resort team ensure outstanding service around the clock.
Enjoy the exclusivity and privacy of Jade Mountain with all of sister resort Anse Chastanet’s restaurants, bars, boutiques, art gallery, spa, scuba, bike and watersports facilities as well as 2 soft sand beaches available and easily accessible to Jade Mountain guests by foot or resort shuttle at all times.
When you stay at Jade Mountain Resort in Soufriere, you’ll be on the beach, just steps from Anse Mamin Beach and 5 minutes by foot from Anse Chastanet Beach. This 5-star resort is 3.4 mi (5.4 km) from Petit Piton and 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from Soufriere Volcano.
Make yourself at home in one of the 29 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring refrigerators and iPod docking stations. Your pillow top bed comes with Egyptian cotton sheets. Rooms have private patios. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available to keep you connected. Private bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers feature jetted bathtubs and rainfall shower heads. “Sanctuaries,” as the resort’s rooms are known, offer little in the way of mod cons — you won’t find phones or televisions here. The focus instead is on the incredible view, which is easy to take in given rooms’ open floor plan (meaning there’s no wall on one side). Take in the scenery from your private infinity pool (in Star and Moon Sanctuaries) or from the whirlpool tub in the bathroom. Your major domo (Jade Mountain’s term for a personal concierge) is available 24/7 to help arrange everything from car rentals to room service.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. If you’re looking for recreational opportunities, you’ll find an outdoor pool, an outdoor tennis court, and a fitness center. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services, and gift shops/newsstands.
All-inclusive rates are available at this resort. Meals and beverages at onsite dining establishments are included in all-inclusive rates. Charges may be applied for dining at some restaurants, special dinners and dishes, some beverages, and other amenities.
Grab a bite to eat at the Jade Mountain Club, a restaurant where you can take in the ocean view, or stay in and take advantage of 24-hour room service. Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Full breakfasts are available daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee. James Beard Award-winning chef Allen Susser likens the food at Jade Mountain to “a tropical vacation on a plate,” and the menu features such dishes as cinnamon-roasted mahi-mahi with blue crab couscous. Room service at the hotel is far from standard — the culinary team can prepare a six-course menu with wine pairings upon request. For further pampering, check into the Kai en Ciel Spa for soothing treatments, including their Wosh Cho hot stone massage.
Jade Mountain offers plenty to keep foodies happy. There are rum tastings at the old colonial plantation of Anse Mamin, as well as tours of the resort’s organic farm followed by a cooking class. Each Thursday the resort offers a Jazzy Sunset Cruise, with live music and cocktails on a catamaran. Active types can dive via the resort’s five-star scuba center or rent mountain bikes to tackle the nearby hills. A short car ride away you’ll also find the Louis XIV Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens. Most visitors simply tour the lush grounds, but you can also opt for a soak in the thermal hot springs.
