Grand Velas All Suites & Spa Resort, strategically located in the middle of the Mayan Riviera, will open its doors in November 2008. Only 40 minutes away from Cancun's International Airport and minutes away to Xcaret and Xel-Ha (two of the most beautiful ecological & water parks in the area), as well as to the archaeological sites of Tulum and Coba. The dock to Cozumel is located nearby. Built on an area of 82 hectares, Grand Velas Riviera Maya is the ideal place for couples and families on vacation, as well as for company executives who want to have small business meetings and/or large conventions in a luxurious all inclusive resort.
Grand Velas Riviera Maya consists of three building complexes with a total of 496 spacious luxury suites of approximately 375 square feet each and dedicated concierge service, all with whirlpool, satellite TV, wireless internet, minibar and room service with meals available 24 hours.
The Ambassador Grand Class section with 96 ocean front suites caters to adults only, all featuring plunge pool, three gourmet restaurants, three bars and a separate pool will provide a private ambiance. Ambassador Suites cater to families with children with 200 luxurious suites with stunning ocean views, 32 of them with private plunge pool. 200 Master Suites, 100 with private plunge pool as well are surrounded by lush vegetation including cenotes (natural underground reservoirs), mangroves and lagoons. For dining, guests can enjoy from an array of all inclusive services that range from mouth watering Mexican appetizers by the pool or a sophisticated chateau briand in a sumptuous gourmet restaurant to a light snack or full course dinner in any of the 19 other options that include a snack bar, lobby bar, aqua bar, international haute cuisine restaurants, steak house, sushi bar and bistro, all of which serve international premium drinks and provide the now famous quality of Grand Velas Resorts.
Grand Velas Riviera Maya has a Convention Center for business executives in an area of more than 24,000 square feet with state of the art technology. There are up to 28 breakout meeting rooms for small gatherings and the two large convention areas with a wide array of services for up to 860 persons. A Business Center with private offices that will provide all the assistance required to ensure the success of each and every event.
The Spa stands in the midst of a tropical jungle and covers an area of over 18,000 square feet. It has 40 cabins and offers service collections, wrap up treatments and facials with high quality brand name natural products. It is the ideal complement to any vacation.
